Our Wall Decals

Wall Decals

Our Wall Decals are made using a peel and stick, polyester fabric material that can be installed on virtually any flat, clean surface and then removed and reused many times over without leaving any adhesive residue. Ensure you keep the backing paper if you intend on storing your decals once removed from wall, this will keep dust from sticking to the adhesive, making them less sticky!

What will I need to apply my decals?

  1. Damp soft cloth for cleaning the wall.
  2. Credit card wrapped in a soft cloth to be used as a squeegee.
  3. An extra pair of hands for large decals.

Prepare your surface

Only apply to a smooth, dry and clean surface – The most common areas include interior walls, doors and windows. If your decals are going onto a painted interior wall, make sure the wall has been properly primed prior to painting and allow at least 30 days after painting before application. You can remove and replace your decal.

It is not recommended to use our decals on very textured or porous surfaces like brick, cement, etc. Avoid placement above used fireplaces. We also recommend avoiding areas that have been painted with a teflon based paint. This may reduce the adhesion of your decal. We suggest that you test the area for a couple of days first.

Use a warm, damp cloth or sponge to thoroughly clean the surface before application. Allow to completely dry. Do not use any chemicals or cleaning solutions.

Applying your wall decal

Depending on the size of your decal, you made need two people to apply the decals.

Start at the top of the decal and slowly pull the backing sheet away from the decal in small increments while smoothing out the decal onto the wall, remember if you are not happy it can be removed and reapplied. You can use a credit card wrapped in soft cloth as a squeegee to smooth out as you go.

If there are any bubbles or wrinkles present, you can lightly press or smooth them out, or just peel back that area and re-apply.

The key to good adhesion is a clean wall, and paint that has been on the wall for over 30 days before application, we take no responsibility for poor adhesion if these steps are not followed.
